Your Radar Gauge checks for new firmware over Wi-Fi and lets you know when one's ready. You install it yourself, right on the device — it only takes a couple of taps.
Updates don't install on their own — you stay in control. While it's online, your Radar Gauge checks for new firmware and shows an update notice on screen when one's available. To apply it, open the update on the device and tap to install. It then downloads, verifies and restarts on its own, about a minute. Your Wi-Fi, location and settings are kept.
There's nothing to sign in to, and you can check for an update any time from the device's own Settings.
If your Radar Gauge can't get online — or an update ever leaves it unresponsive — it can be reflashed over USB to put it right. We handle recovery one-to-one rather than as a public download, so just get in touch and we'll send the recovery image and the quick steps (a browser-based flasher; Chrome or Edge on a desktop with a USB-C cable).
