Terms & Conditions of Sale
Last updated June 2026
1. Who you're buying from
Radar Gauge is made and sold by Tim Fernando (a sole trader), trading as “Radar Gauge”. You can reach me at radargauge@timfernando.com. Postal address: 31 Dashwood Avenue, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, HP12 3DZ. I am not VAT-registered, so prices include no VAT.
2. The product
The Radar Gauge is a self-contained ADS-B flight-radar display for hobby and enthusiast use. It is not a certified aviation, navigation or safety device and must not be relied upon for any operational or safety-critical purpose.
3. Pre-order & lead time
This first batch is strictly limited to 10 units, each built by hand. Your order is a pre-order: I aim to dispatch around August 2026. If I expect to miss that materially, I'll contact you with a new date, and you may choose to wait or to cancel for a full refund. Payment is taken in full at the time of order via Stripe.
4. Price & delivery
The price shown at checkout is the total payable and includes UK delivery; there are no additional charges. I currently ship to UK addresses only, by a tracked Royal Mail service. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
5. Cancellation & returns
Your statutory cancellation and return rights are set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: you can cancel for a full refund any time before I begin building your unit; once I begin the personalised build the personalised element is no longer cancellable, but your rights for faulty goods are unaffected.
6. Faulty goods
Nothing in these terms affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If your unit arrives faulty or develops a fault, contact me and I'll repair, replace or refund it as the law requires.
7. Liability
I don't exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights). Otherwise, my liability is limited to the price you paid for the product.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
