Cancelling before your unit is built

Because each Radar Gauge is built to order, you can cancel for a full refund any time before I start building your unit — just email radargauge@timfernando.com with your order details. I'll confirm and refund you in full.

The 14-day cooling-off period

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days from receiving an item to cancel for any reason. Because these devices are personalised to you(the welcome name and, optionally, a preset location), the personalised element is exempt from that right once the build has begun. To keep things fair I apply this simply:

• Cancel before I start building → full refund, no questions.
• After the personalised build has begun → the personalised element is non-refundable, but your rights for faulty or misdescribed goods (below) still apply in full.

Faulty or not-as-described goods

Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are unaffected. If your unit is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, you're entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. For genuine faults I cover return postage. Please contact me first so I can arrange it.

How refunds are made

Refunds are made to your original payment method via Stripe, normally within 14 days of agreeing the cancellation or receiving a returned item. You'll get an email confirmation.
